Prenuptial and postnuptial originals
The agreement may be read for the first time decades after it was signed, by people who were not in the room. Its schedules, exhibits and signature pages all need to still be attached to it.
A drafting firm has no duty to hold your original indefinitely. Firms merge, close and purge. Ask yours what it still has, and take custody of what matters.
