What cannot be stored in a safe deposit box?
The short answer
Every safe deposit box rental agreement lists categories a renter may not store, and that agreement governs. Items unlawful to possess, hazardous materials, perishables and anything living are excluded under any facility's terms.
The longer answer
Ask for the exclusion list in writing before you sign anywhere, and read it. We give ours at intake and walk through it rather than leaving it in small print.
